The 900mAh battery exceeds the G2’s 750mAh capacity, although units with higher baseline performance exist among competitors. Running my preferred 0.6ohm pod at 18W generally provided full day usage from a single charge.
As mentioned, when depleted, the Caliburn G3’s 2A fast charging delivered a full charge in under 30 minutes during testing. This ensures minimal device downtime if you do fully drain the battery with heavy usage.
The easy-to-read OLED screen clearly displays remaining usage time estimates along with charging status. It also eliminates guessing games around completion thanks to on-screen charging progress indicators and alerts.
Smooth Performance Across All Modes
After just an initial half-day of use, the Caliburn G3’s seamless functionality already had me considering adopting it as my daily device. Neither the button nor auto-draw activation modes skipped a beat, instantly producing thick, flavorful vapor every time.
Even dropping to the minimum 5W setting saw no reduction in vapor production speed or density. The 0.6ohm and 0.9ohm pod options both provide tremendous flavor consistently even after weeks of testing.
Adjusting settings like airflow and power proves simple thanks to the detailed OLED display. Finding the right settings to match preferences takes only moments whether seeking a tighter MTL inhale or looser DTL hit. Flipping the pod to reduce airflow noticeably alters draw tightness too.

As an admirer of Uwell’s previous Caliburn and other pod devices, my expectations ran high for the upgraded Caliburn G3. Having utilized the G2 extensively upon launch, the changes and improvements delight across the board.
The G3 outclasses its predecessor vastly regarding battery life, vapor quality, flavor consistency, and leakage protection. Current Caliburn G2 owners receive tremendous benefit upgrading to reap sizeable enhancements. Even newcomers to Uwell’s pods should find this model provides their best vaping experience yet.
